Challenge – Music Playback for an Event

Alright. So here’s a challenge for you. My daughter is in a dance class at our local dance studio. Right now they use iTunes to play music for recitals, but every time. Every single time. One of the songs accidentally goes to the next one advances to the next song.

And every time. Every single time. One of the songs is way louder or softer than the others.

So let’s help them out. Here are the 5 songs they’ll be using for their recital. Add each one to QLab, order the cues, number the cues, and name the cues appropriately. I have a little Muzak from the Free Music Archive. The package of music can be downloaded here.

Use the songs to follow this order …

1 – Miss Cindy’s Dance – Beachclub
2 – Miss Dana’s Dance – Sunset Stroll Into the Wood
3 – Miss Stella’s Dance – Up, Up, Up, and Over
4 – Miss Aubrey’s Dance – Siesta
5 – Miss Coraline’s Dance – So Happy

And then next, go through each one and make sure there is a consistent volume across the songs.
