Sharing a File
Once you’ve finished a project and want to share it, remember to Save your file again. Next we need to navigate back to our ShowArchive folder; the place to which we downloaded our Worksheet. As a reminder …
On a Mac, that path is Macintosh HD \ Users \ USERNAME \ Documents \ ETC \ Eos \ ShowArchive
On a PC, that path is C: \ Users \ USERNAME \ Documents \ ETC \ Eos \ ShowArchive
Now that you’ve done your work and saved your file multiple times, you’ll see multiple files. Every time EOS saves your show, it copies the file and changes the name to include the current date and time. Here I saved my show three times. So each file name is appended with the year, month, day, and time. So to submit the most recent file, I’ll want to select the third file in the list below. It’s also helpful to sort by the “Date Modified” flag on your computer.
Once you’ve found the most recent version, share that file however you like. Typically the files are small enough to attach in an email.
For the sake of our course, THE227, you can submit this file in Blackboard. Oh. By the way. If you were to submit the third file in the list displayed … I would have no idea whose assignment it is because it doesn’t include a name. Always remember to Save As first and include your name!
