What is an Intelligent Light?
An intelligent light would be any fixture that has computer circuitry inside.
An un-intelligent light would be referred to as a “conventional fixture”. This could be a common 25 watt desk lamp at home or it could mean a 750 watt Source Four 19 degree controlled by a dimmer. They are simple. Easy.
The circuitry inside an intelligent light makes it smart and because of this, has to be controlled by another computer, your light board. What’s controlled could be a wide variety of things. It could be how bright the light is. It could be the color of the light. It could be the tilt and pan of a moving fixture. It could be the intensity and frequency of a strobe light. It could be these and more.
But at the end of the day, if it has circuits inside, it’s intelligent.
